In the context of economic globalization and digitization, the current financial field is in an unprecedented complex situation. The methods and means to deal with this complexity are developing towards image intelligence. This paper takes financial prediction as the starting point, selects the artificial neural network in the intelligent algorithm and optimizes the algorithm, forecasts through the improved multilayer neural network, and compares it with the traditional neural network. Through comparison, it is found that the prediction success rate of the improved genetic multilayer neural network increases with the increase of the dimension of the input image data. This shows that, by adding more technical indicators as the input of the combined network, the prediction efficiency of the improved genetic multilayer neural network can be further improved and the advantage of computing speed can be maintained.In this study, we performed a retrospective and prospective study of preoperative predictors of the length of stay (LOS) in three groups of surgical patients and conducted a clinical retrospective study of the current research status of preoperative predictors of LOS prolongation in three groups of patients under ERAS (enhanced recovery after surgery) mode, such as patient characteristics and comorbidities. To determine the prevalence of maternal death, stillbirth and low birthweight in women with (pre-)eclampsia and complicated pregnancies or deliveries in Centre de Références des Urgences Obstétricales, an obstetric emergency hospital in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and to identify the main risk factors for these adverse pregnancy outcomes.
We conducted a retrospective cohort study of pregnant women admitted to Centre de Référence des Urgences Obstétricales between 2013 and 2018 using hospital records. Risk factors investigated were age group, type of pregnancy (singleton, multiple), type of delivery and use of antenatal care services.
A total of 31 509 women and 24 983 deliveries were included in the analysis. Among these, 204 (0.6%) maternal deaths (648 per 100 000 women giving birth), 1962 (7.9%) stillbirths and 11 008 (44.1%) low birthweight neonates were identified. Of all admissions, 10 991 (34.9%) were women with (pre-)eclampsia. Caesarean section significantly increased the risk of maternal death in the women with a complicated pregnancy and women with (pre-)eclampsia, but reduced the risk of stillbirth in such women. Not attending antenatal care was associated with a significantly higher risk of stillbirth (odds ratio (OR) 4.82; 95% confidence interval (CI) 3.55-6.55) and low birthweight (OR 1.40; 95% CI 1.05-1.86) for women with complicated pregnancies.

To estimate the SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence in a non-metropolitan area (Vale do Rio Pardo) in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and determine the association between seroprevalence and adherence to social distancing measures.
For the present population-based, cross-sectional study, data were collected in four stages from August to October 2020. SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence was assessed using an IgG/IgM rapid test. Demographic, socioeconomic, clinical, and behavioral data were also collected, with administration of a three-question survey to determine adherence to social distancing measures with a focus on the level of social distancing practiced by participants, their routine activities, and circulation of people in the home. The association between sociodemographic data and social distancing was assessed using the chi-square test for linear trends in proportions, and the association between social distancing and seroprevalence was assessed using Poisson regression (95% confidence interval [95%CI];
< 0.05).
Of 4 252 tested and interviewed participants, 11.8% (95%CI 10.8; 12.8) did not adhere to social distancing measures. The prevalence of a positive rapid test was 4.7% in participants who did not practice social distancing and 1.9% in participants who adhered to social distancing measures (

This new definition seeks to provide a holistic view, process, and approach for managing interoperable applications and databases that ethically considers open and free access to structured and unstructured data from different sectors, strategic information, and information and communication technology (ICT) tools for decision-making for the benefit of public health. It also supports the monitoring of the Sustainable Development Goals and the implementation of universal access to health and universal health coverage as well as Health in All Policies as an approach to promote health-related policies across sectors. In this work, the antibacterial ZnO quantum dots (ZnO QDs) have been incorporated into the biocompatible poly (ε-caprolactone)/collagen (PCL/Col) fibrous scaffolds for wound healing. The as-fabricated PCL-Col/ZnO fibrous scaffolds exhibited good swelling, antibacterial activity, and biodegradation behaviors, which were beneficial for the applications as a wound dressing. Moreover, the PCL-Col/ZnO fibrous scaffolds showed excellent cytocompatibility for promoting cell proliferation. The resultant PCL-Col/ZnO fibrous scaffolds containing vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) also exhibited promoted wound-healing effect through promoting expression of transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) and the vascular factor (CD31) in tissues in the early stages of wound healing. This new electrospun fibrous scaffolds with wound-healing promotion and antibacterial property should be convenient for treating wound healing.

The online version contains supplementary material available at 10.1007/s42235-021-00115-7.Objectives Providing medical care during a global pandemic exposes healthcare workers (HCW) to a high level of risk, causing anxiety and stress. This study aimed to assess the prevalence of anxiety and psychological distress among HCWs during COVID-19. Methods We invited HCWs from 3 hospitals across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate in an anonymous online survey between April 19-May 3, 2020. The GAD-7 and K10 measures were used to assess anxiety and psychological distress. Logistic regression models assessed associations between knowledge, attitude, worry, and levels of anxiety and psychological distress. Results A total of 481 HCWs participated in this study. The majority of HCWs were female (73.6%) and aged 25-34 years (52.6%). More than half were nurses (55.7%) and had good knowledge of COVID-19 (86.3%). Over a third (37%) of HCWs reported moderate/severe psychological distress in the K10 measure and moderate/severe anxiety (32.3%) in the GAD-7, with frontline workers significantly reporting higher levels of anxiety (36%). Knowledge of COVID-19 did not predict anxiety and psychological distress, however, HCWs who believed COVID-19 was difficult to treat and those who perceived they were at high risk of infection had worse mental health outcomes. Worry about spreading COVID-19 to family, being isolated, contracting COVID-19 and feeling stigmatized had 1.8- to 2.5-fold increased odds of symptoms of mental health problems. High-speed railway (HSR) fundamentally changed the integrated market across cities in China. This paper aims to examine the impact of HSR on TB transmission in newly integrated areas. Methods By exploiting the opening and operation of the first HSR in Sichuan province as a quasi-natural experiment, we have collected and used the economic, social, and demographic data of 183 counties in Sichuan province from 2013 to 2016. Results The new HSR line is associated with a 4.790 increase in newly diagnosed smear-positive TB cases per 100,000 people among newly integrated areas. On average, an additional increase of 34.178 newly diagnosed smear-positive TB cases occur every year in counties (or districts) covered by the new HSR. Conclusion HSR development has significantly contributed to the transmission of TB. The public health system in China needs to pay more attention to the influences of new, mass public transportation.
